Risk Assurance Inspections (RAI) was born in 2005 out of a pure fee based insurance consulting firm located in Brentwood, Tennessee, Employee Security Planning, LLC (ESP, LLC). RAI does not sell insurance products or receive commissions from any insurance company or pool. Founded in 1969 by the late Mr. Robert Sanderson and later purchased by Mr. Bob Shupe in 1988, ESP, LLC has always prided itself on making the best recommendations for clients while using the best data. When Mr. Shupe began, he ensured accuracy by visiting every location his clients needed insured to gather measurements, verify building materials, and take pictures. Given the complexities of running a growing business and continuing to output the same quality of work, Mr. Shupe hired Jeremy Shupe in 2004.
Soon after, Jeremy introduced electronic property reports, laser measuring devices, digital cameras, online valuation systems, hazard/risk observation reporting, and a focus on physical risks. In 2005, ESP LLC initiated a new division in the form of RAI. RAI’s mission is to keep property and casualty plans healthy, cost effective and risk appropriate and provide accurate replacement costs for our clients. Now RAI oversees and manages $15 billion worth of property.
RAI does not sell insurance. We are a pure fee based plan management firm working directly for our clients to offer a totally unbiased solution to our clients’ needs. Our responsibility is to help our clients have total control over their insurance program rather than having the program control them.
